I have had pets all of my life and absolutely love animals! I currently have 5 dogs, all of them rescued. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education and a Master’s Degree in Education. I taught middle school for 5 years. In April of 2008, my mom, Paula, and I decided to start PAWSitive Strides, because of our love for animals. I couldn’t ask for a better job! In addition to my own babies, I feel privileged to be able to spoil and pamper other people’s pets!
My daughter and I started PAWSitive Strides to combine our love of pets with our desire to provide quality service to others. We believe in making sure all pets are treated with the same love and attention that they would receive if their owners were home. It makes all of the difference in the world to the pet that is away from its owner. Like my daughter, I also taught for many years and have owned pets throughout my life. My current pets are two rescued dogs. They are part of the family!

Hello, my name is Cora. My entire life I have been passionate about animals. Being able to help and care for them has always been something of importance to me. I have experience with various animals, including dogs, cats, fish, and other small animals, personally and professionally. There is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to see happy animals. I currently have one dog, a four-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd named Rocko. He is the light of my life and inspires me so much every day. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets, and show them as much love as I would my own.

Hello, my name is Gabrielle Clements. I was born in Boston Massachusetts but I have lived in the Orlando area for 12 years now. Growing up I was lucky enough to always have pets in my life and I currently have 1 dog (Zach) and 4 cats (Princess, James, Nora, and Ben). I really enjoy caring for all my pets and I would love to take care of yours as well. I love animals so much that if you asked me what I wanted to do when I was younger I always said I wanted to become a veterinarian. I now attend Valencia College and plan on doing their nursing program. I can’t wait to take care and love your pets!
Hello, My name is Jana, and I have loved animals my entire life. I was the kid that brought strays home, and always wanted to keep them safe. I was raised in Georgia, but have lived in the Orlando area for close to 40 years now. I worked for a local utilities company for 27 years, and retired in 2015. I’m enjoying my retirement, and stay active by running. I have 6 rescued pets-3 dogs and 3 cats. They range in age from 1 ½ to 13 years, and are all wonderfully different. They fill my life with joy every day. I love having a job that allows me to spend more time with pets. I would love the opportunity to devote the same love and attention to your furry family members as I do my own.
I was born in Maine and moved to paradise (Florida) in 2000. I love animals and I have always had pets in my life. My two fur kids are rescued tiger-striped cats named Tiki (age 13) and Wasabi (age 8) and they are the center of my world. Pets provide such great companionship and unconditional love! I enjoy playtime with animals, being outside, and find taking dogs for a walk both therapeutic and relaxing. It also helps me get my 10,000 steps in a day! 😉 As a pet parent, I know how important it is to have someone you trust to care for your furbabies when you are away. It would be my pleasure to care for and love your fur kids in your absence and provide you with peace of mind. I look forward to meeting both you and your pets soon!
I am a native of Central Florida and have always loved animals. I grew up experiencing what it was like to care for hermit crabs, hamsters, guinea pigs, parakeets, cockatiels and bunnies. In addition, I was often asked to assist in caring for turtles, snakes, ferrets, cockatoos, roosters, cats, dogs, and horses while family or friends were out of town. After studying Sociology in college I desired to extend my family further and adopted kitties throughout the years. I also became involved with dog rescue by fostering a Labrador/Weimaraner mix named Sugar. My core belief in welcoming animals into my home is to provide the same dedication and attention to them as you would a child. I continue to be amazed at the individual personalities that animals share with us as we connect. That connecting through interactions such as feeding, play time, and cuddling allows for that bond to grow. Sugar captured my heart immediately and when she was diagnosed with cancer I made her a permanent part of the family in order to love on her during end of life care. This experience taught me I have a special place in my heart for animals under hospice care. Currently, my husband and I share our home with two short-haired cats, Cleo and Lexi. We also have a brown lab named Sadie, and a German Shepherd mix named Toby. I look forward to opening my heart further and meeting you and your animal family.
